Dedicated athletes of all ages have one thing in common, beyond their athletic pursuits…passion. Even at a young age this passion for sport is often one of the things that defines them.
When planning for a portrait session at our studio, we ask our clients about any interests, hobbies, or passions they might have. Whenever it makes sense, we like to incorporate these into their portrait shoot. With sports being a common answer to this question, we thought, why not create a portrait series specifically for athletes? Based on the feedback of our first few sessions, we’re certain that these “Sportrait” sessions will remain a popular part of our offerings.
To kick things off, we’re offering a Sportraits special, open to athletes of all ages, of all sports. For just $249 (normally, $590) you’ll will receive a pre-shoot, “Style & Vision” consultation, a guided portrait session by the portrait artist team at Birch Blaze Studios…a boutique portrait studio located in picturesque Wakefield, NH, and your choice of an 11×14 matted art print (7×10 print size) or a $250 gift certificate to use towards any order placed.
Additionally, together, we’ll plan every aspect of your session with our “Style & Vision” consultation a week or two prior to the shoot, so that can nail a look that shows the athlete at their best, reflecting their personality & passion, and everyone will know exactly what to expect when coming to our studio for their “Sportraits” portrait session.
THE BIG REVEAL!
About 7-10 days following your portrait session, we’ll reconnect so that you can view the images from the session, and order any that you fall in love with. As a guide, individual prints start at $200, collections start at $1290, and custom wall art at $690. We find that most families spend $1500 and upwards on print collections, finished art pieces and photo albums.

Once you submit our application form above, we’ll review it and reach out to you by phone and/or text. Sessions can be booked by phone after we have a brief chat to go over all of the details with you and answer any questions to make sure it’s a good fit. Sessions are booked on a first come-first served basis until all openings are filled. The $250 session fee will be collected at the time of booking. We accept credit card, Venmo, or Apple Pay.

Just to clarify, our regular session fee does not include printed photographs or digital files. These are offered for purchase separately. This particular offer does include a print credit/gift certificate which can be applied towards the purchase of prints, wall art, and albums. Each and every print you purchase comes with its digital copy, whether it be a single print, wall art, or photos in a photo album.
