x-mart, quick & cheap mentality, It's easy to find cookie-cutter web design that costs next-to-nothing . . . hmm, does the phrase, "You get what you pay for," come to mind? Now, if you're buying a home, are the facts that a house may be energy efficient, close to your job or priced right going to be your only considerations? Would cosmetic disrepair, a creepy neighborhood or a remote location affect your decision? Quite likely. The same principle applies when people visit your Website. Think about it, if your Website is one of the first things a prospective customer experiences about your company, what impression or feeling will they come away with? Workflow
  Typically, we will meet with a prospective client, to determine exactly what kind of website they need and want. We recommend that clients spend some time surfing the Web to see what similar companies are doing with their websites. They can then get a better idea of what they like and don't like about those sites, as well as others that may not directly relate to their field. At our meeting, we will answer questions and make suggestions, and just really listen. We can then hone in on how we can best tailor a site design to perfectly fit the needs and scope of the company. We will then provide a written proposal outlining the scope of the project as well as our costs. At this point we would also agree upon a mutually acceptable timetable for the completion of the project. After the proposal has been accepted and a 30-50% deposit received, we will begin work!

  Initially, based on the proposal and additional input from the client, we'll design a home page and secondary page prototype for approval. Once approved, the bulk of the work can begin in earnest. Of course, it's important that content for the site (text and images supplied by the client) be provided in a timely manner, so that the site can be completed on schedule. We will keep you (our new client!) updated via email and telephone. Site progress can be viewed on our test server. Once final edits are completed and final approval given, the site will be launched. If you'd like, we'll even write you a complimentary press release, to let the world know your new website is on the scene!
