Studio Policies, Terms and Conditions

Birch Blaze Studios is a small, boutique portrait studio. We are not a high volume studio, and therefore greatly depend on our booked session appointments being honored. No shows for any appointment have a huge impact on us as a small business, and we ask that you please respect this. In order to minimize cancellations for complimentary sessions, we require a refundable booking fee (refunded or credited at ordering appointment) to secure your photography session appointment. Gift certificates and studio credits are not redeemable for cash.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Our session/creative fee secures your portrait session for the date/time agreed upon.

2. In the case of special events or promotions, a minimum $99 booking fee secures portrait session for the date/time agreed upon. In these cases, the booking fee is 100% refundable when you arrive on time for your portrait session, or it can be credited towards print products.

3. Booking fee is 100% refundable for cancellations within 72 hours of booking.

4. After 72 hours, the booking fee will be converted to a studio credit or will be refunded at your ordering appointment.

5. Any session missed or cancelled (after 72 hours from booking), automatically results in the booking fee being converted to a studio credit.

5. Failure to attend a planned ordering appointment (takes place 7-10 days after portrait session) may incur a rescheduling fee. 

6. If 20 minutes or more late, the appointment will be considered cancelled, and rescheduling will be necessary.

7. Gift certificates, studio credits and/or vouchers of any kind do not have a cash value, and are not redeemable for cash.
