One of the things I will miss most about shooting

One of the things I will miss most about shooting weddings are capturing beautiful moments of beautiful people. People that are beautiful because of how much they have loved and are loved by their tribe. Treacy and Tony told me prior to the wedding that it was very important to them to have images of their grandparents, who would be in attendance. I love watching the respect and affection an entire family has for their grandparents (I miss all of mine so much!). I was also blessed to have a lovely conversation with these kiddos about how they used frequent places like the Savoy in #boston circa 1940's, and see legends of swing jazz like Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, and Frankie Lane. You can imagine how cool hearing that was for this swing jazz musician! Photography helps us hang on to these beautiful moments, but how priceless is it to actually get to have your grandparents with you on arguably, the biggest day of your life? I am honored to be invited into a family circle, if only for a day, and help them preserve so many amazing moments with their friends and families!

Model call, y'all! We're ready to strike up the band (safely) after laying low for some time, and looking to create some fresh portfolio material with some creative portraiture. We're looking for some interesting and charactered faces to bring into our Wolfeboro studio, or perhaps visit some cool locations. If you've ever been told, "You oughtta be in pictures, see?" or words to that effect, 😉 or know someone who would make a great portrait subject, drop us a line!
We're happy to hear from everyone, but will only be able to select a few individuals and we do have a certain feel/vibe in mind.
